Welcome to Year 1! 🌟

Today was a very special day — the first day of Year 1! Our classroom was buzzing with excitement as we welcomed our new learners, bright-eyed and ready to begin their journey.

 There were big smiles as the children took in their new surroundings. We spent the day getting to know each other, exploring our classroom, and learning about the routines that will help us have a fun and successful year.

We read stories, played some getting-to-know-you games, and even had a go at our first creative activity. It was wonderful to see the children already showing kindness, curiosity, and a willingness to try new things.

We’re so proud of how brave and enthusiastic everyone was today. We can’t wait to see all the wonderful things our Year 1 learners will achieve!
