The children really enjoy the maths tuff trays. These trays have a focus on an area such as number, cardinality, shape, measure and spatial awareness – the focus is changed each week to ensure we are covering all areas of maths. Some activities we provide the children with to support their maths development are having the weighing scales out – can they see which bucket is heavier? Matching shapes activity – can they match the shape to the outline and name the shapes?
