With all this lovely weather we have been having recently, we have made sure to provide the children with lots of water play to help keep them cool when outside. Water play helps to enhance children’s fine and gross motor skills through actions such as pouring, scooping and splashing. Water play is important for understanding the world as they’re investigating low technology by washing and cleaning toys.
