The acorns have had lots of fun going out in our 6-seater pushchair. We have been taking the children on local walks, and they have had so much fun talking about all the things we can see and hear – noticing detailed features in their environment.

We have also had some lovely sessions down at forest school making stick men, going on a bear hunt, planting flowers and cress seeds. The children also take part in lots of water play. This helps promote understanding the world further as they are investigating 'low technology' such as washing and cleaning. The children also use funnels and other tools to carry water from one place to another.
