Year 1 at the Cheltenham Literature Festival – Meeting Michael Rosen! 

What an unforgettable day! Our Year 1 children had the incredible opportunity to visit the Cheltenham Literature Festival and see  Michael Rosen in person!

The children were thrilled to be part of such a special event, surrounded by books, authors, and fellow young readers. But the highlight of the day was, without a doubt, hearing Michael Rosen perform some of his most beloved poems live on stage.

There were giggles and gasps as he brought his words to life with his brilliant expressions and energetic storytelling. A firm favourite was his hilarious poem “Chocolate Cake” — the children were completely captivated!

A huge thank you to the Cheltenham Literature Festival for hosting such a magical event — and to Michael Rosen for reminding us just how fun and powerful words can be!
