Forest School Fun: Making Dream Catchers
This week in Forest School, our Year 1 children embraced their creativity and connection with nature by making their very own dream catchers!
We began our session with a peaceful walk through the woodland area, collecting natural materials like twigs, feathers and leaves. The children were encouraged to look closely at the world around them, noticing the colours, textures, and shapes that nature offers.
Once we had gathered our treasures, we sat together in a quiet clearing and began crafting to create beautiful dream catchers. Then we made a camp fire and enjoyed marshmallows and hot chocolate. Thank you Mrs. Bennett for a wonderful Forest School session.
