Welcome to Avon Class!

Welcome to the Avon class page! We are very excited about all that Year 5 will involve. Here you will find our Topics Webs and Knowledge Organisers for each term, as well as pictures of our class engaging in their learning as we progress through the school year. 

Home Learning 

Home learning is set weekly on a Friday. The children will bring either their Reading Comprehension and maths books or their SPaG books and set pages will be listed on Evidence Me. Homework books need to be returned by the Friday of the following week. The children will also have project work set each half term. Children are also expected to read and practise times tables daily.

PE Kits

Our PE day for this term is a Friday. Please ensure the children have their kits in school for this day. We recommend that children bring their kits on a Monday so that they are ready in school for the session on Friday. Children will then wear their PE kits home on Friday.
