Welcome

On behalf of St. Joseph’s school community I would like to warmly welcome you to our school website. I hope that it gives you a 'snap shot' of what we do and what we are about.

We are a thriving and happy Catholic school, providing a broad and balanced curriculum.  We take a holistic approach to education; focusing on developing the whole child with Christ at the centre of all we do.

Catholic education is the 'core of the curriculum' (Saint Pope John Paul II) and the foundation of the whole educational process.  At St Joseph’s  we ensure that every child enjoys and achieves, whilst  developing the  confidence to be independent learners who know how to make informed decisions about the choices they make in life.

We are committed to the partnership of home, school and Parish and through all parties working together our children will be sure of success.  Through this joint commitment we welcome new members to our school to grow and work in the love of Christ as we live out our mission statement

Treat others as you wish to be treated’.

I am proud to be the Headteacher of a thriving, learning community with supportive staff, governors and parents.

If you would like your child to join our school and grow and learn in the love of Christ, please come and visit us.  It is only by entering our school that you will see our Mission Statement in action.

Kindly note, children do not need to be Catholic to join our school community but we do encourage families to be committed in their understanding of our Catholic ethos and we ask for your support in promoting Christian values which lay the foundations for lifelong learning.

I look forward to meeting you.

God Bless

Mrs Francis
