We are learning to write up a non-chronological report on Pangolins in our English lessons. Role plays have been a useful tool for us to gain ideas about how the Pangolin attacks and defends against predators. Have a look at the sentence stacking board for some of our brilliant sentences.
The children’s other faith learning has been around Judaism. They designed their very own stained glass windows that can go into a Synagogue. Nightingale Class also wrote a diary entry about a day in the life of a Rabbi and learning lots of symbolic Jewish symbols and meanings!
Our Science lessons have been exploring the human body, including animals. We have already looked at what we would do if we were ever stranded on a deserted island. Also, we are looking into the different food types that help form our healthy balanced diet.
Nightingale Class are now Rock Detectives! We have begun to discover about fossils now and where they might come from!
We have started to look into the history of transport through the British age. Some of the children have made homemade vehicles and explained to the children the making process!
We have started to look into attacking and defending in both Football and Rugby this term, with some dodgeball thrown in too! They have learnt to use their bodies to protect the ball and how to pass correctly in both sports.
This half-term the children are learning how to block and move during netball both with and without pressure!
We have started to look into the question ‘what is a network?’. The children have created glossary defining terms for different devices such as tablets, computers and servers. Also, what their purpose is within a network.
